The Cabinet of Ministers approved today the Agreement between the Government of Moldova and the Government of Ukraine on joint control of persons, means of transport, goods and things at common border crossing points of the Moldovan – Ukrainian state border.

The joint control will be applied at all Moldovan – Ukrainian border crossing points, both for car and railroad transport. It will streamline the interaction of the border control institutions of Moldova and Ukraine facilitating the transport of persons and goods.

The agreement on joint control at the Moldovan – Ukrainian border was signed during the official visit of the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Volodimir Groisman, to Moldova on 6 October 2017.
