Prime Minister Vlad Filat today chaired a cabinet meeting
At the beginning of the meeting, Filat listed a range of problems, that needed to be solved urgently. Thus, in the context of discussions held at the local public authorities congress, Filat requested to the Finance Ministry and Labour, Protection and Family Ministry to work out proposals on the wage payment of the local public administration employees, but also to ensure the necessary communication in the context of the implementation of the education reform and of the afferent procedures. At the same time, Filat requested the Transport and Road Infrastructure Ministry to elaborate proposals on solving the road taxes issue at local level, inclusively by initiating some amendments to the law, if this needed. Filat also instructed to ensure mayors’ access to the state institutions on the identity cards basis in order to remove all bureaucratic obstacles.

Moldovan Prime Minister Vlad Filat today chaired a cabinet meeting
The cabinet decided to start negotiations on Moldova's financing agreement with the EU supporting the justice sector reform in Moldova (the Annual Action Programme 2012 ). The signing of this agreement will back the implementation of the justice reform strategy. The EU will allocate 60 million euros to support the justice sector reform.
