Following the prolonged flight delays in July 2011, the premier demanded that the Transport and Road Infrastructure Ministry should implement the best practices in the Moldovan air transport legislation, in order to establish new rules on compensation and assistance to passengers in the event of denied boarding, cancellations and prolonged flight delays.
