Polish Agriculture and Rural Development Minister Marek Sawicki gave the horses to the prime minister.
The two Anglo-Arabian stallions named Vizir and Division, aged 4 and 8 respectively, arrived in Moldova on 14 June evening. The Chisinau-based Equestrian Sports School will host the horses.
A deputy head of the Polish embassy in Moldova said that the two stallions came from a farm in Malopolskie region and had been engaged in sports competitions.
The prime minister thanked for the present, noting that the horses are very beautiful. He asked the leadership of the Equestrian Sports School to take good care of them. The prime minister took a short horseback ride.
Previously, the Polish Agriculture and Rural Development Minister Marek Sawicki gave a horse to his Moldovan counterpart Vasile Bumacov.
The representatives of the Polish embassy also gave the prime minister a set of sports equipment of the Polish national football team. Poland hosts the European Football Championship this year.
