Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Valeriu Chiveri on a Working Visit to Florești District
On 12 June 2026, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Valeriu Chiveri, accompanied by Member of Parliament Larisa Novac and representatives of the Bureau for Reintegration Policies, carried out a working visit to Florești District. The purpose of the trip was to become acquainted with the current situation in the settlements of Sănătăuca, Năpadova, and Japca, located within the perimeter of the Security Zone.
During the visit, the officials held meetings with representatives of local public administration and deconcentrated public services, addressing issues of major importance for local communities and identifying the main challenges faced by citizens.
Among the topics discussed were the need to develop infrastructure in localities adjacent to the Security Zone, as well as the renovation and equipping of educational, cultural, and medical institutions. At the same time, given the importance of public administration reform, the officials encouraged communities to advance the process of voluntary amalgamation of administrative-territorial units.
Particular attention was paid to projects implemented under the Programme of Activities for the Reintegration of the Country. In the village of Năpadova, in 2023, the roof of the Family Doctors’ Office building underwent major repairs, with a total cost of 570 thousand lei. In the village of Sănătăuca, in 2024, the sports hall of the “Alexei Mateevici” Theoretical Lyceum, a public institution, was renovated, with the project funded in the amount of 750 thousand lei. To assess the implementation of projects and existing needs on the ground, the Deputy Prime Minister visited the Family Doctors’ Center in Japca village. This year, the institution is scheduled for renovation, with 800 thousand lei allocated for this project under the Programme of Activities for the Reintegration of the Country.
During meetings with residents, the Deputy Prime Minister reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to supporting communities and vulnerable citizens. The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that the European path of the Republic of Moldova represents a key opportunity for the development of localities, modernization of infrastructure, and improvement of living standards, including through access to investments and regional development projects
