The Government approves funding for 36 projects to be financed through the Program of Activities for the Reintegration of the Country
Today, June 22, 2022, the Government approved the Program of Activities for the Reintegration of the Country for 2022, which provides for the financing of 36 development projects in the perimeter of the Security Zone, with a total budget of 15 million lei, allocated by the State Budget Law for the year 2022, no. 205/2021.
The program was developed and finalized in accordance with the mechanism established by Government Decision no. 131/2014, and the list of projects to be funded by the 2022 Program was approved according to the eligibility criteria established by the Selection Committee established by Government Order no. 46-d/2022.
The central and local public administration authorities, beneficiaries of the Program, have the obligation to use the financial resources according to the destination by the end of the fourth quarter of 2022, with the presentation to the State Chancellery (Bureau for Reintegration Policies) of the report on the use of allocations to realize the activities included in the Program.
We remind that in the 2011-2021 period, 11 government programs for the reintegration of the country were implemented, with the realization of 476 projects worth over 141 million lei, having as objectives the solving of the pressing problems from the Security Zone, the sustainable community development, the accomplishment of the desideratum of reintegration of the country, etc.
In the current year, according to the priorities declared at the launch of the project competition, 22 projects were selected and will be implemented for the development and modernization of institutions in the education system, 11 projects for the repair and endowment of administrative buildings, cultural, sports and medical-sanitary institutions, 2 projects for the arrangement of recreational areas and other public spaces, as well as a project for providing financial support to ensure the activity of the delegation of the Republic of Moldova in the Joint Control Commission.
