Meeting of the Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration with the Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Moldova

On 10 August 2026, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Valeriu Chiveri met with Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Moldova Kazuyuki Takeuchi.

The discussions focused on current developments in the Transnistrian settlement process, the situation in the eastern districts of the country, as well as the efforts of the authorities of the Republic of Moldova to promote a peaceful, gradual and sustainable reintegration process, with respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova.

Deputy Prime Minister Valeriu Chiveri expressed appreciation for Japan’s continued support to our country in the process of modernization and development, underscoring the importance of further strengthening cooperation in various areas of mutual interest.
