Meeting of the Deputy Prime Minister for reintegration with the representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross

Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian met today with the Head of the Country Mission of the International Committee of the Red Cross, Francois Mounis.

During the talks, the interlocutors referred to developments in regional security and measures to manage the refugee crisis in Ukraine.

In this context, the sides mentioned the activities undertaken by the representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross to provide all forms of assistance available to citizens on both banks of the Dniester, to distribute existing humanitarian aid and to provide qualified services through trained volunteers. The openness to intervene with the necessary help in managing the problem of refugees and people in difficulty was also stated.
