Meeting of the Deputy Prime Minister Valeriu Chiveri with OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Vice-President Kyriakos Hadjiyianni

On March 24, 2026, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Valeriu Chiveri held a working meeting with OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Vice-President Kyriakos Hadjiyianni, together with the Acting Head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova, Izabela Silvia Hartmann.

The agenda of the discussions included issues related to the current dynamics of processes on both banks of the Nistru River, interaction between Chișinău and Tiraspol within dialogue formats, as well as the key priorities of the authorities of the Republic of Moldova in the gradual and sectoral advancement of reintegration policies.

The role of the OSCE in the Transnistrian settlement process was highlighted, and a renewed call was made to consistently keep on the agenda the issue of human rights observance in the Transnistrian region and to provide the necessary assistance to victims, including facilitating their release from places of illegal detention in areas temporarily outside the control of the country.
