The Transnistrian file, discussed with researchers from the United States of America

On March 9, 2026, the Head of the Bureau for Reintegration Policies, Alin Gvidiani, held a meeting with two researchers affiliated with the George Washington University in the United States of America.

The interlocutors reviewed the approaches and priorities of national authorities in promoting the country’s reintegration policies, with a focus on the positive measures taken by Chișinău for the benefit of inhabitants on both banks of the Nistru River. 

The Head of the Bureau emphasized the pragmatic spirit of residents in the Transnistrian region of our country, who increasingly make use of the high-quality public services offered by relevant institutions in the controlled perimeter, becoming strong supporters of reintegration between the two banks of the Nistru River.
