Valeriu Chiveri Discussed the Development of the Transnistrian Settlement process in Berlin

Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Valeriu Chiveri, who is on a working visit to Berlin, held a meeting with Günther Krichbaum, Minister of State for Europe at the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.

The discussions focused on the development of the Transnistrian settlement process, the situation in the eastern districts of the country, and Chișinău’s efforts to promote a peaceful and sustainable resolution of the conflict while respecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova within its internationally recognized borders. 

The interlocutors also discussed the importance of strengthening Moldovan-German cooperation to support democratic reforms and economic development. 

In this context, Deputy Prime Minister Valeriu Chiveri expressed his appreciation for Germany’s ongoing support and its contribution to promoting regional stability and security, thereby facilitating the country’s reintegration process.
