On October 2, 2025, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Roman Roșca, accompanied by civil servants from the Bureau for Reintegration Policies, paid a working visit to the villages of Sănătăuca and Năpadova in the Florești District.

The visit aimed to assess the current local situation and identify solutions to enhance the attractiveness and sustainable development of the region's communities. In this regard, meetings were held with representatives of local public authorities and deconcentrated services, during which topics of major interest to citizens were discussed.

Among the topics addressed were the modernization of local infrastructure, attracting investments, strengthening the capacity of authorities to efficiently manage available resources, expanding and diversifying public services, as well as the implementation of projects aimed at improving living standards and fostering socio-economic development.

The Deputy Prime Minister visited several public service institutions in the villages of Sănătăuca and Năpadova – including health centers, educational institutions, and other community-oriented social facilities. During the field visit, the need for maintenance, modernization, and efficient management of public infrastructure was emphasized in order to ensure quality and accessible services for all residents of the region.

It is worth noting that in recent years, the village of Sănătăuca has benefited from over 2 million lei in funding allocated through the Program of Activities for the Reintegration, aimed at modernizing the social infrastructure. Additionally, the locality has been supported through various European and international programs such as “Europa aproape” (road modernization), “Satul European-2” (sidewalk improvement), projects of the National Environmental Fund, as well as initiatives implemented by UNDP Moldova, all of which have significantly contributed to improving the quality of life in the community.

At the end of the visit, the Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration reaffirmed the Government's commitment to supporting local authorities and citizens in the implementation of development projects, highlighting the importance of strengthening the partnership between central public administration, local authorities, and international partners.

“The continuation of regional development processes is a major priority for the Government. We are concerned with the well-being of every citizen, and in the Security Zone, community needs have their own specific characteristics. It is essential for all residents to be involved in the development process, and for their opinions and needs to be taken into account. At the same time, our path toward European integration encourages us to also make progress in the reintegration process through peaceful dialogue and constructive negotiations,” concluded Deputy Prime Minister Roman Roșca.
