Prime Minister Dorin Recean pays a working visit to Japan

Prime Minister Dorin Recean pays a working visit to Japan from August 30 to September 2. On Sunday, August 31, the Head of Government in Chisinau will inaugurate the Republic of Moldova Day at the Osaka World Expo, an event dedicated to promoting the image of our country in the Land of the Rising Sun.

At the same time, on Monday, September 1, Prime Minister Dorin Recean will have a meeting with his Japanese counterpart, Shigeru Ishiba, to discuss strengthening bilateral relations. 

The Head of the Executive will also talk with Akihiko Tanaka, President of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), a governmental organization empowered to support economic and social growth in developing countries and promote international cooperation.

As part of the program, Prime Minister Dorin Recean will also promote the Republic of Moldova as an investment destination and will discuss with Japanese businessmen the opportunities offered by our country.
