The Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration, Roman Roșca, in dialogue with representatives of public authorities on the issue of public transport routes in the Dubăsari district

At the initiative of the Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration, Roman Roșca, a consultative working meeting was convened to discuss potential intervention measures aimed at resolving the issue of ensuring that residents of the villages of Corjova, Coșnița, Doroțcaia, Molovata, and Molovata Nouă in Dubăsari district have access to regular public passenger transport services.

The meeting was attended by the leadership of Dubăsari district, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development, the National Agency of Road Transport, and the Chișinău Territorial Office of the State Chancellery.

Representatives of the central public authorities with sectoral responsibilities explained the procedures that must be carried out at the local level, in accordance with the provisions of the Road Transport Code, in order to address this issue. These include the possible adjustment of the itinerary and timetable of existing routes, the awarding through competition of new regular road transport services, as well as the creation of intercommunity public transport development associations, which may provide subsidies and attract external assistance funds.

Resolving this issue will facilitate access for the population of these localities including elderly persons and people with disabilities to social and medical services provided by the relevant territorial subdivisions in the city of Criuleni.
