Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Valeriu Chiveri held meetings in Bucharest with officials from the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Presidential Administration of Romania
On the sidelines of his working visit to Bucharest, Romania, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Valeriu Chiveri held meetings on March 10, 2026, with the State Secretary for Strategic and Global Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania, Ana Tinca, as well as with the Presidential Advisor for National Security and Foreign Policy, Marius Lazurca.
The discussions focused on recent developments in the Transnistrian conflict settlement process, the regional security context, as well as the coordination of efforts in support of the stability and resilience of the Republic of Moldova.
The Deputy Prime Minister expressed appreciation for the consistent support provided to the Republic of Moldova, including in the process of European integration, strengthening state institutions, and implementing development projects with a direct impact on citizens.
At the end of the meetings, the parties reaffirmed the importance of continuing the dialogue and cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and Romania in order to promote regional stability and advance the peaceful settlement process of the Transnistrian conflict, with full respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova
