First meeting of the project selection commission within the Program of Activities for the Reintegration of the Country for 2022
Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian convened today, as chairman, the first working meeting of the Commission for the selection of projects within the Program of activities for the reintegration of the country for 2022, the nominal composition of which was approved by the Government Decision no. 46-d of March 22, 2022.
During the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister and the members of the Commission, consisting of representatives of the State Chancellery, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development, the National Anticorruption Center, and the Bureau of Reintegration Policies, also documented themselves and examined the submitted files and the list of project proposals collected during the competition period – February 1 – March 11, 2022 (117 registered projects with a total budget of 51688.2 thousand lei).
The members of the Commission were informed on the priorities set at the launching stage of the competition, the procedures to be followed in accordance with the provisions of Government Decision no. 131 from April 21, 2014, general eligibility criteria, and assessed the level of compliance of the projects with the established requirements and criteria.
We remind that in compliance with the Law on the state budget for 2022, no. 205/2021, 15 million lei were allocated for the country reintegration activities. Therefore, after the completion of the evaluation process of the projects collected in the current year, the list of projects selected for financing to be approved by Government decision will be systematized and will be implemented by the end of the fourth quarter of 2022.
