Meeting of the Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration with the Chargé d’Affaires of the United States of America to the Republic of Moldova

On 25 June 2026, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Valeriu Chiveri held a working meeting with the Chargé d’Affaires of the United States of America to the Republic of Moldova, Nick Pietrowicz.

The dialogue focused on the most priority actions implemented and planned to be carried out by the authorities of the Republic of Moldova in order to gradually and multisectorally reintegrate the Transnistrian region into the unique national spaces.

The Deputy Prime Minister reiterated that the Government of the Republic of Moldova will continue to extend prompt support measures to residents of the eastern districts of the country, including through reintegration-related projects and the operationalization of the Convergence Fund mechanism.

Gratitude was expressed to the United States of America for the constant support provided to the authorities in Chișinău.
