Working visit of the Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration, Roman Roșca, to Dubăsari district

On August 21, 2025, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Roman Roșca paid a working visit to Dubăsari district, where he held meetings with representatives of the district administration, local mayors, and employees of deconcentrated public services.
During a meeting organized by the Dubăsari District Council, current issues in the district were discussed, particularly the provision of regular public transportation for the population.
Another important topic of discussion was the energy security of the localities located in the perimeter of the Security Zone. The Deputy Prime Minister assured that measures are being taken to ensure the supply of natural gas during the cold season, including through undercrossing works of the Nistru River in the area of Pîrîta village, in order to connect to the networks on the right bank of the Nistru River.
In the locality of Doroțcaia, a meeting held at the mayor’s office addressed issues of local importance, such as the administration of the local landfill and the need to support development projects. The Deputy Prime Minister also met with representatives of the administration and teaching staff of the Doroțcaia Theoretical Lyceum and the „Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt” Theoretical Lyceum of Grigoriopol (currently operating in Doroțcaia). Key topics of discussion included the modernization of school infrastructure (gymnasiums, electrical networks, canteens), overcrowded classrooms, and the challenges related to the lyceum’s return to the city of Grigoriopol. It was highlighted that, starting from September 1, 2025, all school canteens will provide free meals for middle school students.
The visit concluded at Pîrîta Gymnasium, where upcoming projects were presented. For example, the repair of the school’s roof will be carried out within the framework of the Program of Activities for the Reintegration of the Country for 2025, with an allocated budget of 950 thousand lei. Other important projects, such as the rehabilitation of sanitary blocks and the construction of a sports complex for primary school classes – which currently lack their own gymnasium – will be implemented with the support of external partners. These partners make a significant contribution to the development of communities in the perimeter of the Security Zone, providing better conditions for education and youth development in the region.
