Working visit of the Secretary of State of the Government for Reintegration, Roman Roșca, to the localities on the Cocieri Plateau

On 17 July 2026, Secretary of State of the Government for Reintegration Roman Roșca paid a working visit to the settlements of Corjova, Cocieri and Molovata Nouă. During the visit, he met with the representatives of local public authorities and educational institutions to discuss the current challenges faced by these communities, as well as their priorities for future development. 

In the village of Corjova, a working meeting was held with the administration of the “Mihai Eminescu” Theoretical Lyceum and representatives of the local public authorities in preparation for the upcoming school year. Particular attention was given to the steadily increasing number of requests from children from the Transnistrian region who wish to continue their studies in educational institutions subordinated to the constitutional authorities, as well as to the need to identify solutions for ensuring appropriate study conditions and their integration.

During the meeting with the mayors of the settlements Cocieri and Molovata Nouă, discussions focused on the current situation on the Cocieri Plateau, the dynamics in implementing infrastructure projects, and the measures needed to improve the living conditions of local residents. Roman Roșca reaffirmed to maintain the continuous dialogue with local public authorities and providing support for the advancement of projects aimed at community development and addressing the challenges these communities face.
