Meeting of the Deputy Prime Minister for reintegration with the representative of UN Women in the Republic of Moldova

Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian met with Dominika Stojanoska, UN Women Country Representative.

The Deputy Prime Minister praised the partnership framework developed along the lines of promoting peace and security processes, integrating the gender dimension in various national sectors, and strengthening the skills of women in the security and defense fields.

The discussions focused on the current stage of sectoral partnerships and concrete ways of developing them on thematic fields of mutual interest, including from the perspective of promoting the Women, Peace and Security Agenda.

On the same occasion, the Deputy Prime Minister for reintegration elaboration on the recent developments on the Transnistrian issue and the efforts made by Chisinau to provide the necessary assistance to the citizens of the Transnistrian region and within the perimeter of the Security Zone.
