Working visit of the Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian to Copanca

Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian, accompanied by representatives of the Bureau of Reintegration Policies, paid a working visit to Copanca village, Causeni district, during which they discussed current issues with representatives of local public administration, local subdivisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and of the Ministry of Health, economic agents, war veterans, teachers.

 

Among the topics discussed were the need to develop and modernize the local road infrastructure, sufficient organization of passenger transport routes, difficulties encountered by rural households, educational and cultural institutions and locals, equipping the local police sector with adequate buildings, the vaccination process against Covid-19, the need to procure an ambulance adapted to the characteristics of the local roads, the projects implemented through the Program of activities for the reintegration of the country, etc.

 

On this occasion, Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian visited and documented the activity of several institutions located in Copanca village: Family Physicians Center, Fire and Rescue Station, Sector no. 5 of Causeni Police Inspectorate, ”Izvorașul” Kindergarten, “Vasile Alecsandri” gymnasium, the needs meant to contribute to the efficiency of the provision of quality public services to the citizens being highlighted.

 

It is worth mentioning that some of the above mentioned institutions have benefited from budgetary allocations for the country's reintegration activities (“Izvorașul” Kindergarten - 1.14 million lei, Family Physicians Center - 350 thousand lei, etc.), as well as being funded through European Union programs to promote confidence building measures and assisted with projects implemented by UNDP Moldova (reconstruction of the Copanca Fire and Rescue Station and its endowment with modern intervention equipment).

 

Gratitude were addressed to the Deputy Prime Minister and the Bureau of Reintegration Policies for the assistance provided to Copanca village, and the availability of further and joint support with the competent national authorities and relevant external partners in resolving the difficulties facing the locality was declared.
